Hey Soul Sister

Here we have a great song by Train called Soul Sister. It’s a great song which makes use of some easy chords and combines some first and second positions on the fretboard. This way you can practice the change between both positions of the chords being played. A great little piece to jam to, the chords are as follows:

E Major 3rd Position
7.6.5.5
B Major 2nd Position
6.4.5.4
C# Minor 2nd Position
7.6.7.5
A Major
4.2.3.2

This was an example of an easy song and what you can do with merely 4 chords and combining the different positions on the Cuatro. It is great to practice pieces like this. A major challenge is always to change between chords especially when they are in different positions along the fretboard of an instrument. Make sure you practice this song and the changes in chord positioning.
