Bob Marley, born Robert Nesta Marley OM on February 6, 1945, was a famous singer and songwriter from Jamaica who revolutionized a whole country with his music style. His music is considered to have mark a before and after for the reggae genre. He had fusion reggae, ska and other elements of rock to create a very distinctive style. Bob Marley had a talent for relating events, experiences and parts of his own life for each of his lyrics. By the ‘60 he had become a popular culture icon and the Rastafari flagship. Even after his death, his music and identity got adopted as the symbol of Jamaican music.
