The Golpe Tocuyano is a typical rhythm found in the Venezuelan state, Lara. It is categorized as being part of the famous Joropo and is played as such 6/8. There is a peculiar interpretation with a type of Cuatro with 5 strings known as the Medio Cinco which has a clear sound.
