Muting Chords

Previously we have viewed a lesson on the techniques involved in the silencing of chords to provide a percussive effect with the Cuatro. In this occasion, we will do something similar with the main difference being that we are going to be looking at chords which do not make use of all of the fingers for marking chords. As the video suggests, the D chord has 3 strings which are played freely and only one string being marked by your fingers. We need to learn how to give the percussive effect to chords such as this one which is slightly more difficult than those we have previously seen.
