Queen was a British rock band that formed in London in 1970. The group consisted of lead vocalist Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor, and bassist John Deacon. Queen was known for their eclectic mix of musical styles, ranging from hard rock and heavy metal to progressive rock and pop. Their energetic live performances and vocal harmonies were also a hallmark of the group, and they were considered one of the best live acts in the world.
